ALEXANDRIA, VA (June 8, 2009)—Praxis, Inc. today announced it was awarded a prime contract (N00173-09-C-6004) by the Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) to provide research, development, and engineering support for specialized aerospace systems. The cost-reimbursable contract has a one-year base period of performance, four one-year options, and a total value of almost $80 million when all options are exercised. Under this contract, Praxis will provide specialized skills and expertise to perform systems engineering, analytical, scientific, and technical tasks supporting evolving aerospace technology. The work will be performed primarily in the Washington, D.C metropolitan area. This award continues the company's 21-year involvement with specialized aerospace systems at the NRL.
